Demographics of SMSF members are changing fast

The average age of SMSF members is decreasing, with more than 45% of new SMSFs being set up by people under the age of 40.

Large scale demographic changes tend to drive significant change in the way members interact with SMSF service providers. A younger, more tech savvy demographic will usher in a new age of technology driven services, lowering the entry point for SMSFs and empowering investors to move away from traditional financial service providers.
